Banking & Direct Deposit
We work with several of the local banks in Vergennes to offer banking services to our staff. There will be the opportunities to travel to Vergennes to open a new account as well as opening an account onsite. One of the local banks will come onsite to activate accounts. Below are a few banks that are located in the town of Vergennes. www.citizensbank.com www.chittenden.com www.merchantsbank.com You can also elect to have your paychecks automatically deposiied into a U.S. bank account. You will need to have a pre-printed voided check or deposit slip and the completed Direct Deposit form. For more information contact the Human Resources or Accounting office when you arrive. |

What to pack!
Please leave your valuables at home or be sure
to lock your room, BHC is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Clothing: Warm sweaters and a jacket for the evenings; May, September, October can be cool. Also bring gear for sunny weather and outdoor activitities: bathing suit, t-shirts, shorts. The climate can vary during the summer months but it's mainly warm to hot days and cooler nights. You will also want to bring at least one set of "dress" clothes should you wish to dine in the Main Dining Room on occasion or other special functions. You should also check your uniform requirements for any other items you may need to supply. For most departments tops will be provided, however it is the responsibility of the staff person to provide bottoms and shoes. Click here for more information on uniform requirements. |
Bedding: We will supply you with sheets, blankets, bedspread and a pillow. You are welcome to bring your own bedding if you prefer. Please bring your own towels, beach towels, bathrobe and toiletries. Linen laundry service is also available for those who are interested. |
Room Suggestions: Bring an alarm clock (wind up preferred), flashlight, radio with headphones. I would also suggest bringing a flashlight because of periodic power failures and also it can be dark in parts of the resort. |
