You can contribute much to the success of Basin Harbor Club. Whenever guest opportunities arise, we empower you to always make service decisions based on what the best outcome can be for out guests. We encourage you to participate in the process by being creative and expressing ideas. Your primary goal, as a member of the Basin Harbor family, is to perform all assigned duties to the best of your abilities with the end result being superior guest satisfaction. We expect you to exceed the guest's expectations. A positive "can do" attitude can turn a good guest experience into a great guest experience.

Uniforms

All departments require a nametag and a uniform or dress code. Employees must wear their complete uniforms at all times while on duty. Uniforms must be clean, neat, and pressed at all times. Your uniform must be worn only during working hours.

Staff who do not meet the uniform guidelines will be asked to return home and change their attire.

  • The pants/skirt/short must be black, fall at your natural waist (no hip hugging pants) and fit appropropriately. Overly tight or form fitting pants are not acceptable.
  • Skirts and shorts must not be higher than 3 inches above the knee, for the Red Mill, black skirts or slacks are required. All bottoms must be neatly pressed and free from tears.
  • For Recreation Staff, Golf Staff and Waterfront Staff khaki shorts are required and must have an inseam of at least 6 inches, any inseams shorter than 6 inches are unacceptable.
  • Cargo style pants or shorts are not allowed.
  • The pants may have a pleated or flat front and must be a full pant, Capri or cropped pants are not part of the uniform requirements.
  • Any one arriving at work not dressed appropriately will be asked to go home to change.

**Please be sure to keep your receipts and if your selections are deemed inappropriate you will be able to bring them back however this resource sheet should eliminate any problems. **

 

Staff working in the Main Dining Room, Beverage Department, & Banquets will be issued a vest and tie or a DSA jacket. It is required to provide your own white tuxedo shirt, tailored Black pants for males and tailored black skirts for females(hose required), & comfortable black shoes. The standard tuxedo shirt with the 1/4 pleat is required. We will provide one per person at the beginning of the season to get you started.
