Basin Harbor Club is not only a great summer job and a fun place to work but you will also get the chance to work with people from all over the world. Of our approximately 300 employees, about 15% are from countries other than the USA.

Most of our International staff are working on a J-1 Exchange Visitor's Visa or student visa. For more information on participating with this exchange, I would recommend contacting one of the following agencies:

At this time we are accepting J1 applications through CIEE only. H2B applicants please fill out an online application. We will be filing for a limited number of H2B extensions only, in the areas of Food & Beverage, Front Desk, Housekeeping, Culinary and Food Prep.

For returning J1 employees, we will participate with an independent program. However for those candidates who will be working at Basin Harbor for the first time, we will only consider students who are participating in the placement program.

Our season runs from mid-May until mid-October and we do expect all our staff to fulfill their commitments. It is very important that our international staff stay for the duration that was originally stated on their application. We look for applicants who are able to commit to at least a May to October length of stay. Applications are reviewed beginning in January and final hiring decisions are made up to April.
